I’m a street photographer based in Perth, Western Australia, photographing everyday life in the city’s streets and public space.
For the past several years I’ve spent most weekends walking the city with a camera, observing the small moments, gestures, and odd details that appear in everyday life. By returning to the same streets again and again, I’m interested in how the character of the city slowly reveals itself through ordinary scenes.
Most of the work is photographed on 35mm film using a simple approach: walk, observe, and respond to what unfolds. The aim is not to stage or direct anything, but to notice brief interactions, humour, and quiet moments in public space.
Perth is often described as a quiet city, but spending enough time wandering its streets reveals unexpected moments.
My work focuses on candid street photography, small visual observations, and long-term studies of the city.
